Protection

Front Bumper
Tomken's Off Road Performance Package included their Protec 54" front bumper, but I opted to pay the differance to get their Stubby Bumper. It was only 42 inches wide.

But since I wanted to put the winch on the front and quit messing around with the quick mount and get some protection from trees, I went to Mountain Off Roads RockProof bumper. I am very happy with it.

Rear Bumper/Tire Carrier

Swing out Tire/Gerry Can/Hi Lift Well I started out with Tomken's rear bumper with Swing out Tire, Gerry Can, Hi Lift, and Rocky Rack. I would have kept this combo, but when I went to use my winch on the rear, it wouldn't push far enough into the receiver to insert the pin. I had to open the swing out tire carrier which doesn't have a latch so became a huge pain when I had to winch myself in an off camber situation. So now I'm waiting for my Bulletproof FF1R rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, jerry can, and Hi Lift jack mount. Bulletproof mounts their tire carrier above the bumper thus removing my winch mounting problem. They also have a latch to hold the tire carrier open at 90 degrees. I'll insert a picture of the Bulletproof combo as soon as I get the film developed.

I ordered my Bulletproof bumper with several options. For starters I got their shackle mounts which includes 2 3/4" clevis's. I also added the Air Tank conversion option so I wouldn't have to find a place for a tank under the TJ. Next I got the swing out tire carrier with 2 jerry can and HiLift jack mounts. For in town driving I got the stubby tire mount to keep the spare close in when I don't need the jerry cans. For when I leave the jerry cans on and off road I got the offset tire mount. This moves the tire out to allow space for the jerry cans and lets the spare be moved up higher to lessen the chance of the spare hitting on when going up a steep obstacle.

The Bulletproof bumper & tire rack are on! Pictures to follow.

Rocker Skids
The Tomken 2"x4" Rocker Skids made of 1/8" wall tubing with closed ends. They will support Hi-Lift jack, their stronger than nerf bars, and don't take up all the ground clearance like round tubes do. Tomken included these in their Off Road Performance Package that I bought. They were pretty easy to install and are very well built.

Gas Tank Skid Plate The Tomken Gas Tank Skid Plate is made of formed 1/8" steel Made with 1/8" steel plate and boxed in on all four sides. I came off a ledge once where my gas tank would have been smaller or punctured if not for this skid plate.

Roll Cage
Roll Cage - click for more info The Mountain Off Road (MORE) TJ Sport is made with 1 3/4" .0125 steel. It came unpainted so you don't have the paint damaged in shipping as other things I've bought have. It appears to be very well built. The installation was very easy! I also added two center bars and put an aluminum plate over them where I then mounted my CB. I also had the frame tie in kit welded to the frame. I will be adding a spreader bar to the back hoops as well as braces to each side later. Click on the picture for more info.

Diff Guards
Cover Gaurd I wanted to protect my diff's so I went to Kilby Enterprises to get a set of Four X Doctor Cover Gaurds. I'll be ordering a new one for the front since I'll be switching the 30 out for a 44.
